The “include” is setup the way it is so that the script works for both XP and Windows 7 (and Vista) Microsoft’s sync frequently gave us problems with files not sync’ing properly (failing to sync, or sync conflicts that required user interaction, or just flat out not working for weird/random reasons.) GoodSync also allowed us to start sync’ing the user’s Desktop and Favorites folders, a functionality that you normally only get with Roaming Profiles (something we stopped using a long time ago) but without the headaches of Roaming Profiles.Ī couple notes about the command line options we used for GoodSync: This how-to explains how we configured GoodSync to replace the functionality that was provided by Microsoft’s built-in Offline Files synchronization and My Documents redirection.
